let's pray.
let's start the school year off thanking God for His peace and protection over our children, our teachers, our schools, and our homes. this prayer was prayed with families the night before school started in 2011 by my pastor's wife. it's a powerful declaration claiming God's promises. it's my go-to prayer for back to school season.
post this prayer next to the hooks where the kids hang their backpacks, or near on the kitchen counter where you pack lunches, or on the back door so you see it on your way out. and pray.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.
Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.
