When I was in the fourth grade, my elementary school announced a Talent Show. I knew right away that I wanted to enter the competition with Lisa, my BFF since Kindergarten. At barely 10 years old, Lisa was already a talented tap dancer, and my talent at the time was playing the piano. Neither of us wanted to showcase those talents, however. Being the hip and cool girls that we were, we wanted to dress up in sequins and patent leather and lip sync. Lip syncing is a talent, right?
