sometimes, that's all it takes. a pat on the back, a "how are you doing?", a knowing that someone is in your corner cheering for you.
since i started #3in30 three weeks ago, i have relied on encouraging words to get me through. they're coming from friends, from family, my husband and children, from other bloggers, Twitter friends, Facebook posts, and even snail mail. i love it. i would have given up long ago on potty training Bubba, Project 365, and the 21-day Daniel Fast if it weren't for your encouraging words. thank you. thank you.
the encouragement that starts my day, every day, off on the right foot comes straight from the Lord. scripture He's taken me to in the past week:
"Mark a life of discipline and live wisely; don't squander your precious life. Blessed the woman who listens to me, awake and ready for me each morning, alert and responsive as I start my day's work. When you find me, you find life, real life, to say nothing of God's good pleasure."

He always has something good for me in His word. all i have to do is open it. read it. His encouraging words are right there- promised to ME! i rely on it. i cling to it. i grasp it. i trust it. His living, encouraging Word.
