we were given a scorecard and a tiny pencil. i wrote in our names, and jotted down everyone's scores on hole 1. but soon the giggling, the dancing, the re-tries, the lost balls, the serious faces, and the giggling took over! the scorecard stayed folded up in my back pocket. the pencil was dropped somewhere along the way, i think. it took us two and a half hours to play 18 holes because we played just for fun. everyone wins.
