my big girl started preK this fall. she brings a lunch, lovingly packed by mama, and her backpack full of trinkets to remind her she's not far from home. while she learns and plays the day away, i get to spend some quality one-on-one with bubba. we miss her, but we enjoy our time together.
we spent last week in atlanta, shopping and touring the city with jamie, relaxing in the always freezing, always clean hotel room, and hanging out at georgia tech. it was bubba's first plane ride and he did great. as long as he has his milk mama nearby, he's fine.
i love september: school. school supplies. state fair. pumpkin spice. schedules. routines. warm days and cool evenings. football. baked goods. let the fall begin!
